GSD&M.
An enormous agency.

GSD&M is owned by publicly traded OmniCom (OMC), the largest marketing communications company in the world. Annual revenue is about 12.7 billion dollars.

GSD&M has created advertising for Fannie Mae, Chili’s Bar Grill, Wal-Mart, World Market, American Foundation and Norwegian Cruise lines. Southwest Airlines is a long-time client of the agency and GSD&M’s “Don’t Mess with Texas” campaign has won the hearts of everyone who loves living here.

The Richards Group.
A very large agency.

The Richards Group is the largest independently owned advertising agency in the country and who could forget their radio campaign for Motel 6? While Tom Bodet’s inviting voice probably made you want to stay in their motels, your screaming, hysterical spouse probably told you that they would be sleeping somewhere else.

Annual billing for The Richard’s Group is reported to be around 1.25 billion dollars. While that is a good bit less than OmniCom, it is still an awful lot of money. The agency has also worked on Home Depot, Fruit of the Loom and Zales.

Dally.
Smallest of the big three.

Dally has worked for Justin Boot Company, Whataburger, Six Flags Over Texas, Kodak, Calloway’s Nursery and World Land Trust. The agency has also represented real estate developers, banks, manufacturers and has an extensive background in hospitality and tourism. Dally’s pro bono work for The United Way and the Humane Society of North Texas is also worth noting.

Like the other two shops, Dally’s work has been published in CA magazine and the agency has national and international awards from Clio, The International Festivals, National AAF, The New York Art Director’s Club and others. As the smallest of the three “Creative Hot Shops”, Dally has annual billing in the millions, not billions.
